THE PROJECT:
The Royal Albert Hotel is the heart and soul of Brisbane. It’s central location is at the epicentre Brisbane City and adjacent to popular Queen Street Mall.
With its rich history spanning over 100 years and its charming classic style, Management engaged SafeAir to revitalise the buildings exhaust ventilation duct system in order to keep-pace with more modern resorts and hotels constructed in and around Brisbane.
SafeAir utilised its reputable duct cleaning methods to remove many years of accumulated matter from deep within the buildings ventilation duct system. All of the hotels 73 Deluxe Rooms, Suites and Apartments were carefully serviced by SafeAir technicians along with associated roof ducts and roof exhaust fans.
Management were pleased with the overall improvements in airflow and air suction throughout the buildings ventilation duct system. Some of the hotels ageing air registers were repainted to match the rooms decor, adding a more modern-look to its classic rooms and apartments.
SafeAir and Royal Albert Management successfully managed all access challenges that were presented due to the hotels high-turnover and occupancy demands and proudly restored the exhaust ventilation system back to its intended design and specification.
Brisbane’s increasing population growth, major building and construction developments and demand for public transport throughout the city are all key factors impacting on city air quality in general. It is important for resorts, hotels and high-rise apartment buildings to regularly inspect and clean their exhaust ventilation systems to remove any blockages and accumulation of matter that has built-up over time.
